This last Sunday was the first time we spoke at a church in the last 8 months.  We are thankful for this opportunity and encouraged to see God continue to raise our support.  It is also exciting to see God opening up new opportunities to speak at churches in our community.

Ezra found my (Del) slippers on the floor and began trying to figure out how to place them on his little feet.  I could see the gears turning in his little mind, “Now, how do I put these big things on my feet.”  He continued struggling with the big slippers until finally, with a huge grin and much excitement, he managed to slide the slippers onto his little feet.  When he stood up, oh the joy that was written all over his face!  He figured out how to wear slippers like dad!!! On May 29th I, Arielle, turned 27 years young.  I love birthdays, mine included! I don’t love them just for the delicious cakes my husband makes, or the gifts received (although I do love giving gifts), or because I get to spend time with some of my favorite people.  Those are all delightful things, don’t get me wrong!  Allow me to explain why.
