Slippers

I could see the gears turning in his little mind, “Now, how do I put these big things on my feet.” He continued struggling with the big slippers until finally, with a huge grin and much excitement, he managed to slide the slippers onto his little feet. Birthday

I don’t love them just for the delicious cakes my husband makes, or the gifts received (although I do love giving gifts), or because I get to spend time with some of my favorite people. Those are all delightful things, don’t get me wrong! Allow me to explain why.
