Graduation May 2010
Seventy-eight students graduated Saturday, May 16. The vast majority of these folks are going on through the rest of their training with New Tribes Mission.
Many will aid NTM in reaching our goal of 50 new people groups reached in the next five years.
We praise the Lord for these students lives and for the part we had in their education.

The graduating class
In a change from previous years, we had dinner back at the NTBI campus after the graduation. We served some 500 people.

Some of the crowd we served

Grilling up a storm

Yum! Hamburgers!

Two Grandbabies Born the Same Day!
December \’07 & January \’08
How we praise the Lord for the safe arrival of our grandbabies born to Bob and Sharon Thompson, and Anthony and Jessica Palmer! Both babies are doing well. Kyle has a condition called Torticollis, a muscle that was tight in his neck making it difficult to turn his head. With therapy, that is improving. Pray as they meet with the Neurosurgeon that he will be able to prescribe a helmet for Kyle to help reshape his head where it is flat in the back from having his head in one position. It has been great having Alexandria close by to catch her smiles, see the daily changes in development, and to give cuddles! And it makes us miss Curtis and Kyle even more!

Recipe for May
Ever cook spaghetti for 220? How much food would you need? Well, just in case you ever do have to cook for that many here’s what you would do.
Brown 30 pounds of ground beef and drain.
Chop up about 4 medium onions and about 30 cloves of garlic.
Saute the garlic and onion and mix with the ground beef.
Take 2 number 10 cans of pizza sauce, 1 #10 can of marinara sauce, 1 #10 can of tomato puree, 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce, and a 50 can of tomato juice. Add some sugar to take off the acidity of the tomato product. Mushrooms can also be added.
Boil water and cook 18 pounds of spagetti noodles.
Serve with some breadsticks.
There you have it!
