NTM - New Tribes Mission | Planting Tribal Churches

David is from Mason, MI. During high school he spent countless hours working on the dairy farm by his house. He graduated from Lansing Christian School and then attended Lansing Community College for a year. It was during that time that God worked in his heart to consider serving in full time ministry. He attended New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson from 2006-2008.

Vanessa is from Troy, MI. She came to know the Lord at 14 and from that moment she knew that she wanted to spend her life serving God in overseas missions. She graduated from Troy High School and then went straight on to New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson. She graduated 2007 and spent a year in Honduras working as a third grade teacher.

David and Vanessa met at Bible school and were married July 12, 2008. After David graduated they moved to Honduras for a year and both taught at a bilingual school. On October 26, 2009 they welcomed the birth of their first child, Jericho.

They graduated from the New Tribes Missionary Training Center in December ’10 and are currently en route to the Philippines. There are 4 tribal works that they are looking at joining on the island of Luzon. These works are considered “unfinished” and David and Vanessa would love to see a mature Church established with believers who are reaching out to their own people.
