Caleb endoscopy today

Caleb in the waiting room.

Caleb had an upper endoscopy procedure done this morning as one more event in a long line of tests to try to find the source of his stomach pain.

He was unable to get up enough strength to make it into school this last Monday.  Since his health problems started he has lost 15 lbs.  He typically eats only once or twice a day, but drinks more often.

Caleb has been involved in many fundraising events this last year to be able to go on his 8th grade trip to Washington DC.   His class leaves this Sunday and returns Thursday.

Please pray:

  • for Caleb’s recovery from today’s procedure
  • that Caleb would feel good enough to go on his class trip
  • for an accurate diagnosis and healing for Caleb’s stomach pain

Caleb’s next appointment, where he will get the complete results of the test today, will be May 18.  The initial report from the doctor indicated that they did not find any abnormalities such as a stomach ulcer.

Thank you for your prayers and notes of encouragement!
