Does anyone else find it challenging to not know what lies ahead?  I love to plan.  I love to make lists.  I am weird like that.  But when you don’t know where you are going how do you plan?  The simple answer should be that you don’t, but in my obsessive thinking I have found a way to still make a list.
* Continue praying about direction
* After learning field research as much as possible
* Make needs list
* Make packing list
* Make list of all other lists I will need to make…
Ok, so maybe it isn’t that bad.  Just don’t get my husband started on the subject.

I know that the Lord asks us to wait upon Him and in His perfect timing He will reveal to us what we need to know to take that next step in faith.  I tell myself to rest in this knowledge, but quickly my mind jumps to wondering if there is something that we should be doing in the meantime.  Because it has been 3 months now since we have learned of Rylan’s condition.  Have I done all that the Lord wants me to?  Are there more people we should be talking to?  Does the Lord want us to just start heading toward a field and He will either clear the way or shut the door?
I don’t have an answer.  If the Lord brings us to mind please pray for us.  If the Lord reveals it to you then I wouldn’t mind hearing about that either :)  For now I am striving to rest!
“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!” Psalm 25:14
“Yes my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.” Psalm 62:5

Hello there!

We have a cup ready for you!

We are so excited about what God is doing in our lives and we want to share it with you.  Since we do not have the opportunity to have you all over for a cup of coffee when something new happens we thought we might try to keep you updated this way.

We hope you will enjoy hearing about the adventures the Lord leads us through.  We would love to hear your input and what is going on in your lives as well.  Please keep lifting us up in prayer as we bow before our Heavenly Father on your behalf.

Until we can actually set a date for that cup of coffee…
