About
We as a family are planning on heading to the field of Paraguay. At first we were Papua New Guinea bound. But the Lord shut that door for us and we were asked to choose a new country. This did not take a lot of thinking about but we did pray quite abit about it to make sure we were making the right decision. We can’t wait to get there and see how the Lord is going to use us. Please Pray with us as we prepare to head for South America.
OUR TESTIMONIES
Colton:
I was raised half my life in the Finger Lakes Region of New York and half in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It was while we lived in New York, I trusted Christ as my Savior. I was 7 years old and was attending Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Moravia New York.
When I was 9, some New Tribes Missionaries came and shared about their ministry. I thought they were the coolest people in the world and I wanted to be like them. So I told the Lord, this is what I want to do for you.
When I was a teen I became involved in camping ministries at Miracle Mountain Ranch. It was there that I really learned about having a personal relationship with the Lord and gave my life to full service to Him.
During the end of High School my focus started to change from Missions to Music and I had planned to serve the Lord with music instead of what I had promised Him. The Lord really got hold of my heart that year and prodded me to attend Bible School. It was there that the Lord recharged my heart to serve Him in overseas missions.
Tanja:
I was raised in the great state of Michigan. I was 5 when my cousin told me that she had accepted the Lord so I kind of took her story as my own. At the age of 10, we were baptized together.
When I was 13 or 14, I really started to struggle with whether or not I had truly ever accepted the Lord. One day I decided to talk with my Pastor after Bible class and make it right.
Even at a young age, my heart was always burdened to serve the Lord in full time ministry. Even after I committed my life to the Lord; I struggled with what that would involve and became like Jonah.
It wasn’t until I was 19 that the Lord led me to New Tribes Bible Institute and there reminded me of the promises I had made for Him.
