Serving Mexico with Mission Aviation

Outgoing and Monthly Costs

Lifeline to the Tribes

Lifeline to the Tribes

When we first arrive in Mexico we will be concentrating on learning Spanish, but after that phase, I will be flying into the various airstrips where we have missionaries.  The primary purpose for these flights will be getting me proficient in country…these flights are what I am calling the field check out, and we are responsible for those flight costs.  The pilots in Mexico are also required to travel for various reasons, including airstrip surveys, team meetings, mission conferences, and to build relationships and contacts in different regions.  The pilots also subsidize the flight program to keep the cost of flying down for the missionaries in Mexico, so these are some of the ways your gifts will be put to work.  As always, thanks so much for your part in this ministry…you have a direct impact on speeding the reach of the gospel to the remote regions of Mexico.

Technical Needs:

  • Field check out flights in Mexico (approximately $5,000).

Field Needs:

  • An efficient electric refrigerator…the cost of electricity is very high in Mexico.
  • We need about $2,000 for a new ministry computer.
  • We need about $4,000 for setup costs in Mexico.  This includes paperwork, up front rent requirements, and the purchase of appliances and other required household items.
  • United Indian Mission Aviation has asked us to leave with 80% of our monthly support so we are more capable of fitting into their ministry in Mexico.
  • 80% of monthly budget means we need $1,100 more a month.  To break this up into simple terms, that is 6 more people at $100/month, and 10 more people at $50/month.
