Britt and Gayle Hemphill Connecting YOU to tribal missions... About
In September 2008 we completed a transition from Papua New Guinea to Missouri where we have stepped into full-time ministry with the Missionary Kid (MK) Care and Education team. We are also staff at the Missionary Training Center (MTC), which serves to equip missionary candidates-in-training for long-term service in countries all over the world. Our offices are in the MK Education Center located at the MTC campus in Roach, Missouri.
Our involvement with the MK Shepherding team includes being a resource and support to MK’s from the global NTM community, especially in their transitions after high school graduation to the U.S.
As part of the MTC, Britt helps teach a number of classes (MK Care and Education, Learning Styles, and Child Protection). As a registered nurse with many years of field medicine experience, Gayle teaches the Field Health course. We are also involved in a discipleship program for MTC students.
It is a privilege serving in these various roles as we support the efforts to bring the Gospel to those at “the ends of the earth.”
