Being here in the Philippines has definitely been an adjustment for us in many ways but one of the biggest ways has been how I cook! Manila is a great place to live your first year here because you can find almost anything you want…if you’re willing to pay the price. We were willing to pay the price at first, but as time has gone on and we’ve gotten more used to the way Filipinos cook, the things that once were necessary have become more of a luxury. That’s a good thing except that I’m running out of ideas! Do you ever get in cooking ruts when you start to cook the same things over and over and over again and can’t seem to get out?
Well, I’m there! I’m writing in a desperate attempt to get out of the rut and get some fresh recipes! Please help me! If you have any simple, yummy recipes that don’t use much dairy (especially cheese) or beef, please send them to me! Brian would be VERY thankful!
