Bill and Jen met in the Spring of 1990…became best friends and the rest is history!  We were   married in 1992 had our first son, Garrett in Oct. of ‘93.  The Lord blessed us with our second son in July of ‘95…these boys changed our lives!  We desired for them to be grounded in the Word and grow up in a church that would come along side us and help us teach and disciple these two special gifts from God.  In those beginning years we were like sponges and we all began to grow in our secure relationship’s with Christ.

God was so gracious and patient with us in those first few years and then the time came that He started moving us in a new direction.  He gently moved us out of our comfort zone and into the unknown…unknown to us but not to our loving and caring Savior.  Through Bill’s short-term mission trips that he went on to the Lord removing all distractions from us, He had our full attention and we were excited to see what that next step in our lives would be. What was God going to do next…where will He take us…how will He show His power and Sovereignty?

Once we said “Yes, Lord!  Send us!”  That is just what He did.  We just finished training in Canada, and we give glory to God for getting us there and meeting our needs.  We walk with Him daily to seek His will for the next step!  He has taking us out of the “normal” and into this extraordinary life where we ‘by faith’ rely fully on Him.  His Word is Faithful and Trustworthy…He who called us is faithful, He will also do it.”  Our response is to be faithful and obedient to Him who has called us.  As a family we are excited about our next step…the big step of going.  We truly desire to go to Papua New Guinea!

Why there you ask?  As we delighted in the Lord and His will we prayed that we would be able to minister wherever it was He wanted us…by seeking Him He gave us the desires of our heart.  As we began hearing of the needs in PNG, things started falling into place that we would be ‘a good fit’ there.  The more we heard the more excited we got knowing that it was exactly where the Lord would have us go!
