NTM - New Tribes Mission | Planting Tribal Churches

We are Bill and Jen Morlang and we are excited to share with you who we are and where we’re going!  God has been working in our hearts for sometime now and here we are today preparing to head to the mission field.  We desire to obey Him and serve Him with all our hearts.

Our Testimonies ~

Bill ~ While at a Vacation Bible School at my church the Gospel was presented in a way I never heard before. With this new understanding I responded and was saved. After graduating from High School my job took me away from home and away from church. It wasn’t until we had been married a few years and had our boys we started realizing the responsibility we had as parents to teach and raise our children in the church. The Lord led us to a small church in Romulus, New York where we were taught and discipled. It was there that I was exposed to New Tribes Mission and tribal church planting. With trips I took to Panama, Canada and Africa the Lord started leading me into full time ministry with New Tribes.

Jen ~ In April of 1980 I received Christ as my Savior. Growing up in a Christian School, Sunday School and Church I heard and met several missionaries that took that giant leap of faith and served the Lord on foreign soil. Although I found it quite interesting I never thought that I would ever leave the comforts of our home and church here in New York. While serving in several ministries in our home church the Lord began changing our direction and moving us out of our comfort zone. I met these challenges with resistance’s at first but through the encouragement of some very dear friends I met alone with my Lord and gave every area of my life over to Him for full time ministry, wherever that was. It was then that the Lord moved in our lives and on our behalf to get us into training in Durham, Ontario Canada with New Tribes Mission in August 2007.
