Christmas Greetings 2009
Dear Family and Friends, Are you making plans for the New Year 2010? We’re guessing you are. Guess what!?! We are too! In the last 1/2 of 2009, we’ve been sharing with lots of churches and individuals our plan- to help tribal people learn about Jesus. So… what are we doing about that plan? Right now we’re working on raising our support. That means we check with people, “Do you want to join our ministry team? – Are you interested in backing us financially? Will you pray for us?” We’re giving people the chance to be involved. Another step in the plan is to finish Ben’s bush pilot training. The trainer plane is down for repairs still. We’re hoping that we’ll be able to finish up the training in the fall of 2010. In the meantime, we’re doing our best to serve God right where we’re at. God is giving us lots of opportunities. We’ve been very involved in our church here. And we’ve been able to have lots of people over for dinner or to stay the night. Our goal is to encourage people and to point people to Jesus. After all, “Christ is Life; the rest is details.” Thanks so much for your interest in what God’s doing with us. If we can give you any more information, please feel free to contact us. We’d love to hear from you. Merry Christmas! In His Care, The Koois

Praise the Lord… * God’s protection on our move back to MI
* We lost the tread on 1 trailer tire. But it still held air for another 150 miles until we could get it replaced! * Temporary housing * Cathy’s parents let us live with them for the last 3 months. * Our own house
* God has put every detail in place (at exactly the right time) for us to buy our house. * God provided free dental work for Ben! * The Lord helped us find a dentist who put a free crown on for Ben. What a blessing!
Why? Why missions?
Sharing the Vision It’s what we need to do.
Jesus Christ is the Answer to life. “He that believes on the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (Jn 3:36) Everyone needs a chance to know Him.
That’s our passion and our goal: to give people a chance to know Jesus.
God is giving us some great opportunities to speak to churches and individuals. We want to share the vision. It takes teamwork for the world to hear of Jesus.
Do you want to be more involved?

our new home
The Lord has opened doors for us to buy a house in Michigan. Here it is. The house is a quad-level on 3 1/2 village lots. It’s only 5 blocks away from Cathy’s parents’ house.
Our dream is for this to be a “missionary guesthouse.” We want to give traveling missionaries a place to stay. Also, while we’re overseas, we can provide an affordable, flexible rental for other missionaries on home assignment.
We’re praising the Lord for this opportunity! By the way, look us up if you’re in the area. We’ve got plenty of space.
Short-Term Plans
At the advice of our home church pastors, we’re moving back to MI as previously planned. We’re in the process of packing our household into our new trailer.
