Praise the Lord!

After 2 years of saving, Ben’s flight helmet it paid-in full!

Ben was able to shop around, order, and purchase it.  It will be arriving sometime in March! 

Special thanks to all those who contributed to the flight helmet fund!

God is getting us ready for a new area of service.

In the last 1 1/2 months, our 2 sending churches have been communicating with NTM Aviation leadership.

At their encouragement, NTMA is moving forward with assigning our new field.

We should have some concrete information no later than January 31, 2011.

Ben - laying steel flashing

Check out God’s amazing provision of our new steel roof!

• *October 2010— The roof needs replaced. It won’t make it through the winter. Gotta go now!
• *2 days later— Our tax return (a casualty of a new IRS employee) finally got to us.
• *That same week— Steel prices dropped.
• *The next week— Ben was introduced to a local Amish steel manufacturer.
• *4 days later— The steel was ready.
• *The next 2 weeks— on the job
  • -Family and friends helped pitch shingles, then transport and lay steel.
  • -God even provided a “steel roof expert.”
• *3 weeks total = 1 new custom steel roof
  • -Debt free
  • -$500 less than the cost of 30yr. shingles

Ben, Jr.’s eyes: After repeated check-ups with no solutions offered (except a non-reversible surgery), we took Ben to a new doctor. This doctor thinks vision therapy will correct Ben’s eye muscle problem. Ben started vision therapy Sept. 29.

Dear Family and Friends,

As we look back at the summer, it’s hard to find space to report on everything. Our formal partnership development schedule slowed way down. (We’re still waiting for some more direction from our leadership.) At the same time, our personal schedule jumped into hyper-drive!
