Merry Christmas!

The day is winding down on our first Christmas in Papua New Guinea!

(There was supposed to be video clip here, but we can’t get it to upload!!  Sorry!)

We enjoyed spending the morning together as a family talking about the true meaning of Christmas and then opening some presents.  A special part of the morning was getting to talk to most of Emily’s family on Skype.  (We had talked to Bart’s parents yesterday.)

We then had a delicious brunch with our friends the Laniers and then spent most of the afternoon together at our house.  At four we got together for a Christmas potluck with many of the other missionaries here on the center.  There was lots of yummy food both times!

This evening we opened a few more presents and then acted out part of the Christmas story before the boys went to bed.

While most of the day was hot and muggy as usual, the Lord blessed us with some very cool breezes this evening!  We actually had to turn the fans off because we got kind of chilly!!

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
