Well, the time has finally come! In the next two weeks we need to pack everything that we are planning to send to PNG for the next 4 years. After we pack everything in storage lockers and crates, we will have them trucked across the country to California. From there our belongings will be placed on a container that is headed for PNG. At least our stuff will be headed to PNG! We’re praying that we will follow in September.
We have three lockers packed and we’re not sure how many to go! Our house is a mess, but we are making progress.
Wonder what we are sending for the next 4 years? Here are just a few things to give you an idea:
- clothes, shoes, socks, underwear… hopefully in sizes that will fit throughout those 4 years
- Tupperware
- sheets, towels, blankets…
- tools
- study books
- school books for the boys
And plenty more!!
Many things are either not available in PNG or are extremely expensive – that’s why we are sending so much stuff.
Please pray for us as we work through this packing process - for wisdom as we finish up buying necessary items and then for good time management as we pack while still having a somewhat normal life.
