Allan is in Administration in the Bible School office, Mandy is the Nursery Manager and is enjoying serving as she cares for the children of missionaries in training. Allan is also involved with tutoring the Missions Course students and Mandy teaches a class or two.
Andrew is attending LRAC College studying Functional Skills, I.T. and Horse care. He has one more year left and will finish in summer 2013.
Faye has a job nearby at Grimsby Hospital, Paige is in the local school, they live close to the mission site here now.
Joy is still teaching English to overseas students in York. She was recently promoted.

August 2011

Verne and Denny Johnson spent many busy weeks in the Ivory Coast. There are now believers in 6 Palaka villages, and evangelistic teaching is beginning in another Palaka village as I type. Denny checked back the draft of Matthew when she went back in November 2011-January 2012 which can now be printed for the Palaka to read. Acts is in process and almost ready to verify and print too. Ephesians is begun and in process too. Praise God for the translation of His Word into Palaka. Literacy classes continue and we value prayer for the teachers and those learning to press on and not give up- it is a hard slog for those who are older to learn to read. Also a hard slog to patiently teach them. WE are excited that the village school is willing for us to teach the schoolkids in Palaka as well as French. Materials and teachers are hard to figure out right now. More prayer please!
