Ace and Betty Draper

Serving those who serve

About

Ace and Betty Draper We entered into New Tribes Missions in our 40′s along with our two children and after the training we ended up in Bolivia, South America where we served as high school boys dorm parents.  Those were great years for us and our children.  Tara and Jared both graduated from the boarding school, Tambo.   In 2008 we resigned from NTM served with our home church.  But God was not through with us serving on a foreign soil.  We rejoined New Tribes Mission and served for almost two years at the Language Institute.   A visit from a missionary friend serving in Papua New Guinea stirred our hearts for the Madang Province and we said yes to a need he presented.  So in 2004 we found ourselves stepping off a plane into the hot, humid tropical land of the unexpected.  Now in our early 60′s God still continues to use us on the support end of the team.  Ace serves in administration and takes care of the finances for our region along with being on leadership. I help with  hostessing and fill in other gaps when needed.  People ask us how much longer do you think you will serve over seas….our answer is always, till God says go home.
