We are happy to announce that we are finally headed back to Papua New Guinea! We have grown in our marriage and our family and see the fruits of that in the recommendations from our counselors to return to PNG! While we are far from perfect, it has been such a blessing to have this time to focus on our relationships and needs as a family. We are extremely thankful for the amazing doctors, counselors and friends God has put in our path this last two years. Thank you all for your words of encouragement, prayers and help with daily needs! We continue to be amazed at how God has used you all in our lives!
God saw fit to pay off our last furlough tickets and traveling expenses, so we are now debt free! We have a few thousand dollars towards our return tickets, but are waiting for the rest before we purchase them. The plan is to leave mid-July, so that means just two months for purchasing tickets, packing and cleaning the house, buying supplies for the field, and traveling! While it is overwhelming to think of at times, we have watched God work on our behalf thousands of times and are not worried that His plan will come to fruition in His time! The kids will be finishing up school June 11th and then we’ll really be kicking it into high gear!
During the last 11 months, we have been on “leave” from New Tribes Mission. Aaron has had a full-time job supporting the needs of the family. All missionary support that we have received during this time has gone to medical expenses and our debt. Thank the Lord for providing all our needs during this time! We will continue to look to the LORD for providing our needs again as we step back into our full-time ministry.
